One of these has been on my list since I got into this hobby. Took 16 months to finally get one till a couple evenings ago at a park that sits on early ground. Dug a seated, 4 Barbers and a bunch of Washingtons so this was a great surprise!

It's wiped which I know is common but I still love it! :tongue3:

Congrats on the your first SLQ. I really like that coin, such a classic look. They just don't make them like that anymore.

Well done sir@

Congrats on the SLQ. They don't turn up that often.

The SLQ is a beautiful coin, very nice! Hope there are a lot more in your near future.

I'm still jealous of your SLQ find being that I missed it while at that park. Maybe some day I'll get lucky. I'm now digging the most questionable targets with hopes that something good is masked.

Congrats on your first SLQ!

You must be on the fast track, it took me 25 years to find mine.

Still waiting on one great find!

She’s a beauty!

Cut spanish.....yea, I think I'll have to visit the east for that, as well as the bust.
I found another SLQ last month. It's a 1927. ALL of my dug SLQ's have dates and I'm getting close to ten. (definitely weird)
I've been doing this on and off since mid 80's and I don't have ANY barber quarters. Lots of dimes but nothing bigger. I just found my first seated, a 1883 dime, last thanksgiving day.

Can’t get a Barber Quarter to save my soul. Dimes, a beautiful half I wear around my neck, but that quarter eludes me.
