First Try - TOTAL BUST!

my first try at CRH, bought $60 of quarters and $40 dimes.

ZERO SILVER! but i did find a Canada 25 cent, a 5 pence, and a Bermuda 10 cent

guess ill have to try something/somewhere different next time

No really..its all persistance..You keep getting coins..you will end up with silvers...Fo Sho :thumbsup:

im thinking this one was searched through already too. it has a few 1965s, but none below that. plus about half of them are state and even the brand new national park quarters

also, i was planning on getting a bunch of halves, but they didnt have any

Ive been buying dimes lately, i had bought about 800 before i found my first..but for soem reason..i have been on a lucky streak the last week, found about 5 rosies and a merc. and I have only been buying around 100 bucks at a time. I actually have been finding them in the clear rolls too. But really, its all about how much you can go thru,

I cant buy 1000's like most of these people, but im happy with the silvers I found..
I got spoiled on a Box of halves when i found 23 90%'s and 8 40%'s...bought 5 boxes since and havent found crap..lol

next time instead of getting the quarters get all the money in dime rolls.....Matt

You've got to give it patience as said before, Skunks do happen quite often in dimes and quarters, but from what I heard, quarters are the worst odds of finding silver... Personally from what I gathered on searching quarters, average 1 quarter per $1,500... better odds in getting more like 4-10 silver dimes in 6 boxes!

Personally, I have done 3 boxes of dimes so far ($750) and have gotten 2 silver dimes... both from one box. the other 2 boxes were skunks. Next trip to the bank, (tomorrow), hopefully I can snag a dime box
