Hello everyone,

I took the kids out to our favorite park today so they could use their new toy.
After finding about 30 pull tops we where just about to call it quits. I noticed a flat spot on top of a little hill. When we got up there I could see it was a very old picnic site. Soon as the coil got near the ground it started beeping like crazy. We found the 1940 about 4 inches down. A minute later we found the 1944 about two feet away. It was already dark so we just detected around some more and found many more same sounding beeps. We will go back after the weekend.

Always good to find old silver! There's more there.

How exciting! I'm still looking for 1. Congratulations :)

Great job guys! You find the good stuff by learning to identify these areas that most people would never notice. Once you get an eye for it you'll be rewarded(as you were today) :-)

Merc's are cool coins, congrats!

You're off to a great start. It took me several months to find my first and STILL have only found one, lol. Congrats!

Congratulations , my first silver was a merc
