First Venison Of The Season Year 2025

[Cariboo5]

3rd day of bow season my son had some action at his blind which resulted in a nice harvest of a Mule Deer Buck.
Very hot here so we skinned it out, cut it into manageable pieces and into the freezer. Tomorrow will spend the day
grinding into 3 lb packs of deer burger along with little tender loin and back strap steaks.
With several video cameras set up at different angles and distances was lucky to capture and stop the Crossbow Bolt in flight....

Nice !!! What time do the steaks hit the grill and am I invited 😂

Deer streaks with fresh vegies, mashed potatoes topped with a half and half vanilla yogurt / sour cream mix sauce, a few spices
and lemon pie and ice cream for dessert always goes better with company. If I was in your area you certainly would be invited for a meal..

We can only wish for the amount of tags that you get. Centsless Detecting you got yourself started in a great outdoor activity, the season
has just begun and I'm sure you will fill a tag or two.

No soya bean/corn diet in that meat.
Do you ever get the opportunity to get moose or elk?
