Had a really good day with my hunting partner and fellow Tnetter, Repo Archeologist. My trip was 195 miles from my house to Repo's house, then Angola, N.Y. and back again. We picked up 250 pounds of Amish grown and mixed, special feed for my White Homers.
Then it was back on the road to try to get permission at one or two of the old houses that we passed on the way up. We did a little better than that. We got 4 permissions and hit an old school. Expo ended up with 2 Silvers and a bunch of clad.
At one of the permissions,, I was followed around by the owner's 5 year old daughter, and she got all of my clad plus an old plated spoon.
All in all a great day. Tomorrow the birds will really be happy when I treat them to this new feed.
Here is a pictur of a 1941 Mercury Dime, and a Sterling Silver Complimentary Mason Medallion.
