Welcome , Glad your recently cured , yep I agree WhatIfind
Solid brass hub cap for the 1913-16 wooden wheels Model T Ford . Found many of these here in South Jersey , most are cracked or smashed but a nice survivor is worth some bucks to Ford fanatics .............
It's squashed up pretty good but an awesome find to me nonetheless....got it in a park and interestingly enough somewhere within an acre or two of where I dug this I got a piece of broken glass with the word ford on it.....it was not the actual logo ford has so at the time I thought it was the car company but then again thought it could have been any word ending with ford as the last four letters like beauford or straford etc.....not sure then or now but still am always happy with a find like this......it was about 8" down and came up between a jumpy signal of 87-99 on an AT PRO in zero standard mode with iron discrim at 35 nothing notched out....thanks for all of your responses I realky appreciate it and am darn neaf as addicted to this site and forums as am detecting lol.....this site, hobby, and eveyone on here is great and am humbly glad to be a part of it all on so many levels... HAPPY HUNTIN YA'll
P.S......if I remember and can find it I will post the glass later.
Found it with an ATPro, it was about 4" deep. Had no idea what it was when it came out, until I cleaned it up and saw the Ford writing on it. They may both be damaged but pretty cool finds!
Thanks and congrats on yours too!I recently bought my AT Pro and am still learning it but I love this machine!I have the 8.5x11" dd coild and am trying to decide whether to get tbe 8"x5" dd coil or the 4.5 sniper coil.....any thoughts or suggestions from anyone reading this thread?
