Well, I think I have about logged in about 80 hours with my Garret ACE 250. I was out for about 5 hours today. 20 to go then I can say I have this thing figured out.
Milwaukee was at 55 degrees today and I took advantage of the beautiful weather! I really tried to cherry pick for 2 hours, but thats hard to do when I do not know what it means to cherry pick with an ACE 250 since its my first detector.
I found 10 "possibly" stolen phones, a GPS and a Ipod sitting on a wall, spilling out of a plastic bag. One can assume that they were jacked from cars cause who walks around with busted up phones? they must have been sitting there for a good month or two because they were water damaged, coverd with dead leaves and the underside of the bag looked like it had not been moved since it was sat there from the way. I opted out from reporting them to the police becauce I aint got no time for questions and trying to even wait for them to come out to me would have wasted a good hour of my day.
On my finds, the pictures can speak for themselves. A little rusty monkey wrench. Broken part of a pipe wrench, other half was not around after looking. 10 cents in clad. A fork that is a W. M. Rodgers silver plated, its got the little Iron cross and keystone. (yeaaa intenet searching). And trash as usual, I saved most, but the big chunky and flakey stuff either stayed or went to the local receptical.
