Found a hard to find coin today!!!!!..........

First one was an 1852 Silver 3 Cent Piece! a nice thick sterling bracelet, two mercs, 1918, and 1939.
I also got 5 wheats, a political pin, and some doo-dads. Sure was surprised to see the 3 cent pop out of the dirt!

Man it was a silver day for you Mike big congrats on the silver 3 cent, that bracelet is one awesome hunk of silver and 2 mercs to boot, you can't complain about them finds at all, fantastic hunt there. The last 3 cent I found had 2 holes in it also but is more worn than yours and is also an 1852, I've yet to find a 3 cent nickel yet though but them silver ones are always a welcome sight.

Great find Mike. thanks for checking out mine must be the month for 3 centers. I am coming home to Mi. in august hopefully I can take an extra day or two and go out to dig. Going to do 1 place in South Lyon.

Looks like a great day! I found a silver 3-cent piece many years ago, and it is a very neat coin. It is amazing how small they really are. If you ever handle one, you will quickly see how easily they could be lost.
