Found this guy yesterday it's 7 1/4 inches long. It has a few nicks to the bit, but other than that, it is in great shape!. Stuck my stick in the ground to pop the rock out, and luckily, before I did, I recognized what it was and got it (besides the hole next to it) in-situ. This is the 2nd celt I've found on this site, and it must have been near the surface for quite a while. There are over a dozen serious implement strikes (plows disks, and cultivators), and many light scratches. This is a nice example of hard it is to destroy an artifact with farming equipment. I also found a nice little side notched arrowhead while I was there too.
