That's a good thing you did there. I take my dogs with me every time I can. Get them some exercise and my best finds are from when they were with me. I don't find a thing when I'm alone. They like to roam a lil bit but for the most part they stay within sight. Good luck to you and the pup.

Congratulations! Beautiful dog. I volunteer at a local shelter so I love hearing about happy matches. My dogs have never been good off the leash, so I can't bring them anywhere, lol. Even if they would just lay down that would be great, lol.

Adopted her from the animal shelter after work last night, still need a name. People suffested Val or Valentine but not sure i like thar. Now I just have to teach her to sniff out the gold and silver! Anyone bring their dogs detecting? My last dog (a spitting image of this one) would just lay down while I hunted. HH!

Beautiful! Looks part Pit Bull, Pit bulls are the best dogs, with the worst reputation, I have had 4 (have 2 right now) and have never had a problem! only good memories!

Teach the dog to dig for you and name it "Digger".

Good job !!!! I rescued (or he rescued me ) "Bo" 2 years ago,and he always goes detectin with me,it is one of the highlights of his day. He always stays right with me,when I'm diggin a target he walks up and sticks his nose in the hole ,and his tags always set off my detector :) I've included a pic of Bo detecting on Feb 5

Nice find, recovery, save, rescue, Josh.
How about Caroline or Goldie for a name.

It doesn't matter what we name our dogs, my wife calls them by several nick names. Confusing for the dogs, but they love her anyway.

That's the best thing about a dog, unconditional love.

I think I've decided on Dixie. It had to be a southern name!

Good Luck. wishI could take my dogs with me, One would stay near me unleashed, but the other (a Husky) I won't take off chain, cause theyt have a reputation for running off
when given an opportunity. Can't chance it.She's my best friend
