Found a "Smokin Lincoln" today
Was able to get out for about an hour this afternoon, so ran over to a small tot lot that I hadn't hit in a year or so, just to get some swingin time in before it rained again. After being there for a short time, it began to rain so I headed to the car. Came home and threw the dirty coins into the old rock tumbler to clean them off, and after they were done, as I was wiping them off, I found the little gem that is pictured below. I don't know if this is a new item, or one from back in the '60's, but it is kinda cute. It is inset into the coin, so someone had to use a hammer and a punch, but it did make a cute coin out of it. Oh, by the way, it is a legit 1963 penny.
I've included a couple of pictures of it. Has anyone else ever found one of these?
