I had a chance to hunt some more old houses in my home town. Here are some pictures of a couple of houses I got to hunt. I want to give a BIG Shout-Out thank you to Bryce for helping me set up my SE to find deep coins! I found the Barber dime and the two Mercury dimes at 8 inches. The Roosevelt dime was only 4 inches. The Washington quarters were at 5 inches. The Washington quarters sere only 2 feet apart. I found the Canadian dime at 5 inches. The 1854 Sitting Liberty half was 9 inches deep and was found at the same house I found the sterling silver baby spoon. I found 4 Wheat pennies dating from 1920 to 1951. I also found an assortment of clad and memorial coins. Thanks again Bryce, for your help.

Excellent finds! That half served long and well, I think.
Thanks for the nice comment. It's beat up but is beautiful to me.

Great seated half man.

Looks like a nice old house to hunt.

Dan,
I have an SE. I got it about six months ago. I have had pretty good success with it but I am still learning the machine. What settings do you use to find deep silver? I find silver but mostly in the 4 to 8 inch range.
Thanks
Doug

Nice finds, Doug!! As Buckles said, you outdid yourself on this hunt! The SE is a powerful machine in the hands of an expert!

No. It was a faint signal and it was more luck than great detecting.

Dman....What an amazing bunch of coins my friend
Those are some beauties..and you are smokin with your machine

You showed me the half dollar before our lasr relic hunting trip and the pic does not do it justice. It would have bought a lot of groceries in 1854!! Congrats.
