Found MY First Wallet

Went Beach hunting @ Sandy's Beach while my Family went hiking @ Koko Head Mountain,found a lot of coins,then squeak out pops up 2 cell phones,wallet which had $52.00 & some coins an old bus pass dated on 7/22, in a ziplock plastic.. I showed it to the lifeguard,we made some calls but no luck:sad smiley:So I told the life guard that, I'm going that way & I'll stop by his house & return it,,,he thought that was awesome..
Waited for my hubby & family to return from hiking,showed it to my husband & off we went to search for the owner.
We found his home but he wasn't home, but his neighbor came out & I told him the story on the found wallet,he was so amazed that someone would go out of their way to return a lost item,he was just astonishedSo I told him if I could take a picture with him & he never hesitated,since one of the cell phones belongs to his grandson,b/c that day they went to the beach.He kept thanking me,,it felt really great

It really is a great feeling when you return lost things to their owner. I've returned a wedding band and car keys. Nice job on the recovery and return.

I found one buried right next to a lifeguard stand.I got a foil signal,and was hoping for a gold ring.It turns out he had a condom in his wallet,and thats what I detected.I gave it to the life guard,and he blew his whistle.It turns out the owner was frantically looking for it ,a ways down the beach. The owner came running over,and I actually got my first applause ever!
