I found some exciting prospects through research, bummed to say its claimed though, not sure if its being worked looks pretty
rough, the numbers being put out amount to 15 to 51 ounces to the ton, said vein was 3 to 5 feet wide and 3 feet under the surface. Not exactly sure if the claimers know what the potential of this amounts too, probaly so theyve been claiming for a a while.
Interesting to watch though, problem getting older everyday though.
Would like to know the dimensions of the above claimed area, as im sure it spurs out potentially.
Know the Range, township, and sections but would like the particulars, guess i would go to BLM office associated with claim to check.
Is that right,

Thanks johnnysau

In one year alone the Barrick Goldstrike mine on Nevada, which is the largest gold mine in North America produced 1,706,137 Oz of Gold at just 0.136 oz per ton. Im no geology expert and never claimed to know it all.I've seen assays up to 15 or 16 oz per ton,but never anything as high as 51 oz per ton. Can someone tell us what the highest assay on record is, id love to know!!

Hey Tridge, Thats what i thought when i ran the numbers in the book im reading, i think its from the best part of the vein they said they got about $99 cents
worth of ore from about 3 pounds, and .29 cents worth of ore out of about 2 pounds of ore. Put those numbers in my homemade calculator low and behold
came out with unbelievable numbers. It checks, Mother lode in California put out awesome amounts of gold in some areas. They got most surface gold, but that lode came from somewhere. A lot of numbers are staggering in the gold amounts, got remember gold was only about $19.67 back then. Some people say only
15% of the gold was gotten and it wont be laying on the ground for you or i to pick up. Its under the cap rock, which makes sense.

Many places have assayed at very high amounts of gold. How about an assay of 10,000 ounces of gold per ton at Goldfield, Nevada? Check out the Nevada-outback-gems.com website. TTC

No,but on a serious note..is this based upon a whole ton of ore being assayed?? Hypothetically speaking what if a sample assayed at 10,000 oz per ton, but there wasn't a ton of workable material.Maybe im just thinking about it too hard!!

Don't really know how that is possible.... and in fact, I can't get back to the part of Ariz-outback where I read that. I Googled up "richest gold assays" to find it. I copied the placename from the article... that is why it came up larger. I will try to find it again. TTC

Got it figured out. 12 (ounces in troy pound) times 2000 (pounds in ton) is 24000 ounces. That would make my post above (10,000 ounces) 50% gold. WOW! ( OOPS! 42%) TTC

Forget the BLM and go straight to the county recorders office of the county located. ALL claims begin and end there with extreme accuracy and current status. ALSO at least half the claims filed have defective paperwork/ annual labors/taxes not filed as ALL pertinent info there for you to easily access it all in one place-John
