My grandpa always said around dead elms and old apple orchards.Also places where there were previous woods fires.Its been awhile since I've eaten them.Elephant-ears are good eating also...mjm

I was on the farm last week and saw the funny kind growing out of the cow pies. The turkeys had been flipping them over looking for bugs.
