....it's broken :( but is VERY sharp, kept poking my fingers in my pocket...ouch...was a....? DSCN3297.webpRSCN3305.webp Also, while we're on the "broken" topic, any idea's on what that bluish/grey bead thing was when whole?

Certainly a worked piece on nice material. Can you give us an image of the reverse? Likes more like the base of a broken knife or point....

Without size reference, it is tougher to make a guess. The broken piece sure looks like it could be part of a scraper, or even a piece of a blade of one type or another. The drilled piece would be probably be another spectacular artifact if it were all there. What it was? I'll leave that for someone more familiar with drilled pieces. You sure find some nice things!

Thoughts on a thumb scraper but the edges are pretty jagged. But more likely a broken blade. You are sure finding some nice beads.

I believe we are all envious of your fantastic finds! Thanks you for sharing them.

nice finds cat i like the beads, that red one is nice,is it glass?

neat stuff Kat cant wait till you go on another hunt, rock

Whoops...sorry about not getting the size of the scraper/knife thing....will take another pic & of the other side also and post it soon. Yes, to bad they're broken...as Forrest Gump says " --it happens"...love that movie! Thanks for liking you guys :)

Jamey...monsterrack told me that it's a "faceted trade bead"...you can read what he says about it on my post on "Beads" if you want.

...Here's some more pictures of both sides of that scraper/blade ?.....incase anyone can tell what it is? And...so you can tell how large it is.FSCN3516.webpFSCN3517.webp

I believe it is the base to a point or knife. Would of been a good looking artifact if it had been whole.

piece of a blade possibly unfinished but it speaks that you are in an area worth spending some more time at
