Found: Unknown item in my own yard

Anyone know what this white stuff is and how to get rid of it? I'm not used to seeing this and am afraid it may ruin my detector. Any tips?

old antique bike.

It is an old bike. I bought it from the flea market and repainted it to use as a "lawn decoration". If gas keeps going up, I may start riding it.

I saw some of that white stuff falling yesterday also.
I went to get my camera, but when the white stuff hit the ground it vanished !!
It may have been dropped by aliens.
Or perhaps a nearby cotton bale exploded.

Don't forget a wooden detector for the snowman.
(Broomstick with a 2x4 control box and a plywood coil painted the color of the detector of choice.)
