Don’t be fooled. Haha! We opened a bottle of wine in this house we were at. it was horrid. And then a bottle of rum same thing both of them went right down the drain. hope you have better luck than we did

Which is why I said "a gift for people you don't like" lol. I am familiar. Although the rum shouldn't have gone bad. It's a stable base spirit.

Except for when it’s in a Jim Beam bottle and already opened. Although I think that’s whiskey. It was deadly 10 minutes and I never ran so fast to the bathroom in my life!

Now that's a find!

You can't go wrong with free booze .

I also adhere to this philosophy. 90% of the alcohol I've consumed over the past few years I've either found for free on the side of the road or bought for cheap at garage sales.

Even if booze has "gone bad," it can still be used for killing slugs in the garden.
