Friday the 13th: Good Day For Silver

Friday the 13th was not unlucky at all for me. I went back to the site where I have been pulling my silver. I got out and headed for the spot I found the Barber earlier. On the walk over I got a signal as I was quick sweeping as I walked. It was a little jumpy but decided to dig. Glad I did. Pulled this 1941 Merc. From there I made it over to where I found the Barber and started sweeping. Six inches from the Barber hole I got a high nickel/pull tab reading. Decided to dig and once again, glad I did. My first nickel at this site and it is a Silver 1943S. Less than 10 minutes and I had two silver already. I hunted a little more and got two quarters and a dime in clad. Then the wife called and I had to head home to get ready for guests we were having over. Friday the 13th was a great day for me.

The firetower is just the name I use because there is one at the location. I am the only one with permission to hunt though, so no rush to come.
