So I hit the old park today and the AT Pro ran great, maybe it was the cold, but I was getting clear tones on everything and no chatter with the sensitivity on full. I found some clad, an awareness ribbon and a 1965 quarter...so close.
After a couple hours I picked up my wifey and we head for the beach, (she loves to hunt for beach glass). As soon as we arrive I see the line of dark sand just above the waves...coin day!
I start beeping and my wife keeps running ahead bringing back coins and beach glass that are on the surface. I'm going slow, this is a great opportunity and I don't want to miss stuff, I start finding wheats, 1944, 1928, 1926...this is looking very good! Next she come up hands me another coin and says "dime, I think" and I wipe the sand off as turns to go back. I stop her...this isn't just a dime, it's a Mercury Dime! She starts screaming with excitement. I'm torn, happy and annoyed! I've never found a merc and I know I would have when I got down there, but I suppose you never know. I'm happy for her and her crazy luck! I'm calling her Mercury now though because of this, for the merc and because she's also little, red, hot and moves very fast!
I've got an eclectic group of items. Fashion ring, old perhaps necklace pendant that lost its stone, a strange triangle with a notch in it and other whatsits. No silver for me, but my nice wife put it in my little treasure chest of finds. Consolation prize : )
Thanks for looking!

I'm thinking '20's on this pendant
