Finally back at it and had some luck too... Although most of our beaches up north here are very sanded in. I managed to get a few goodies with hard digging and hard work... My persistence paid well with good dividends... I arrived at the beach that I was going to hunt early today, but when I got out, it just didn't look good at all... Went further down the beach about a mile, and saw some small areas of depressions... That's where I set my goal for the morning... Windy, Rainy, Foggy, I didn't care, I went at it, and within a few minutes I had ring number one, it was a 10K Signet Ring almost crushed from time and being on that beach for who knows how long...then a buffalo nickel... I knew then I was in the area that needed me to do some grid work....Bang, then came ring # 2 a nice antique sterling Eagle Ring... also shows just how old this place really is.... I continued to hunt with my friend and we saw another area of interest and checked it out, unfortunately it looked like we had beaten to it maybe from the day before... I did manage ring # 3 for the day and it was also a nice 18 K White Gold girls ring.... There were a few ear rings that were sterling and some recent drops too... Looking forward to a storm or two. Hoping it will kick things up a little....Good luck out there my friends... Nice finds.. Great post.. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Really nice finds Leighton, hay where's that honey hole your hunting at, I need to give that place a try.:icon_thumleft:

Nice oldies, very cool...congrats.

Very cool finds. I wonder if that Eagle Ring is from an officer?

That signet ring has been there so long the initial has worn off. WOW... Great hunt. Keep it up... Papa

You guys in the NE always find great stuff. Good hunting!! Ray

Leighton...I've warned you before...LEAVE stuff for the rest of us! :laughing9:

Really nice finds (as usual)! The beaches up here in NH are also very sanded in. Pickings have been very slim this summer. Started strong (3 gold rings) but it has tapered off to nothing but junk (and not even good Junk).

Again, congrats on the nice rings.

HH,
Anita

Anita if you come down to Mass maybe I can put you onto a good location, the rest is up to you...:) I know I could never find it all....in one day that is....LOLOL

Very cool finds. I wonder if that Eagle Ring is from an officer?

Very possible... there were many officers in that area at one time. Problem is that this ring is smaller than a mans ring......
