Finally back at it and had some luck too... Although most of our beaches up north here are very sanded in. I managed to get a few goodies with hard digging and hard work... My persistence paid well with good dividends... I arrived at the beach that I was going to hunt early today, but when I got out, it just didn't look good at all... Went further down the beach about a mile, and saw some small areas of depressions... That's where I set my goal for the morning... Windy, Rainy, Foggy, I didn't care, I went at it, and within a few minutes I had ring number one, it was a 10K Signet Ring almost crushed from time and being on that beach for who knows how long...then a buffalo nickel... I knew then I was in the area that needed me to do some grid work....Bang, then came ring # 2 a nice antique sterling Eagle Ring... also shows just how old this place really is.... I continued to hunt with my friend and we saw another area of interest and checked it out, unfortunately it looked like we had beaten to it maybe from the day before... I did manage ring # 3 for the day and it was also a nice 18 K White Gold girls ring.... There were a few ear rings that were sterling and some recent drops too... Looking forward to a storm or two. Hoping it will kick things up a little....Good luck out there my friends...
