Ive been wondering the same... You have the storm and hit true 10" deep dimes??? Very interesting, i think im gonna have to try out a bigger coil!

Yes they are faint but a true good signal. You've gotta go super,slow and use your detector to center the target and then read it.

I just got a big nel. Ran it yesterday at a couple overworked old homesites, but didn't find any coins. I did find an old silver plated belt bucket and a skeleton key, neither horribly deep. I wanted to hit a few more spots to see if it will pick up stuff Ive already missed.

Major hint go slow and try to cover every inch.

See my post about the big hole I dug. I think I may have found a meteorite. My hole is 2.5ft deep and when I stick the sharpshooter coil down there the only time I can get a response is if I use the pinpointer function. I have a hard time thinking the big nel can find something good that deep, but it just so happens Im in the right area for a meteorite so I will probably go back and dig some more.
