Garrett Pro Pointer Verses Vibra Probe 580????

Howdy All, I have been using a Garrett Pro Pointer and have been very happy with but am curious about the Vibra Probe 580 mainly because of the ability to use it underwater. Can I get some opinions please?

I use it and it works great in the water. It's not as ergonomic as the Garrett for park use but better than some. Comes with it's own holster which is nice.

Thanks. Does it have about the same "depth" as a Garrett?

I don't own a Garrett but have used one. I found it went a bit deeper than the the Vibraprobe...maybe and inch or two. The reason to buy the Vibraprobe is to get a fully water proof pin pointer. If you need depth in a park, get the White's TRX or a Uniprobe.

ditto everything Cudamark says about depth and waterproofing etc.

I use mine solely for scuba
