Geo or tool?

Found this one with the point I just listed. These are coming off one of the paleo AL spots I asked you guys about. It seems to have marks like a hammer stone on the point but I could be wishing. LOL I have one more from there Im working on the photos now.

I agree with Steve. The reason ppl don't always answer is fear of upsetting the poster. Its happened quite a few times. And none of us want to be upsetting ppl.
I posted rocks/geo's in the beginning, I was dssappointed when told they weren't artifacts but you move on & gain experience..
I better not say anymore, I might get a spankin' off the moderators

hello all...my first post in a while but here goes...in reference to geo vs tool, i have a very large collection of "tools" that i've found on my 69 acres in the piedmont of nc...quartz is the dominant mat'l( i joke that it's my best "crop" bcause we grow it year round, every day...we also call ourselves a "free range tick farm")...anyway i've found what i'm confident are many "tools"...from my experience pictures are not enough to make a decision...you have to hold it in your hand and "think" like the ancients who used it...i don't publish any pictures for that reason...the stuff that i find is usually not highly "worked"...in other words it appears to me that because there is such an abundance of mat'l( i literally have boulders the size of couches down to pebbles) that the ancients were opportunists and didn't have to spend much time working these tools cause they would surely find something else for the job right away...i find some stuff that would have been hafted, but most seem to be handheld( fitting nicely in a palm)...it seems that milky or clear quartz was used for scraping or cutting type tools(it breaks into sharp edges not requiring much work) and rose and darker quartz seems to be used for pounding type tools( it is usually smoother in texture and less inclined to fracture)...maybe its a man thing when it comes to tools...

It looks like another fish hook core...imo They're pretty common in shoreline areas..
