Amazing finds.

Wish we could know just what happened right in that spot.

An amazing haul and to find it in one spot Wow! I'm sure you'll be back to see wwat else there is and I look forward to seeing your posts.

"I not that interested in modern stuff" - LOL - Oh Crusader you've made my day :laughing7: :evil4: :laughing7: :evil4:

Wow, that's enough stuff to start a museum. It looks to all be in great shape.

I had a couple of questions on what certain items were. The item I circled in red, is it a Battle Shield? If so what battle? The item I circled in yellow, is this an oak leaf, and what do they signify? I tried to look up some answers but didn't find any information yet.

It looks to me as if about 20 officers dumped their uniforms and I.D. tags before being captured so they wouldn't stand out as officers and be interrogated as such. Thank you very much,

Steve
Sorry I little write Englisch.
Next photo is complet oficier hat: adler, oak leafs, and top.
There insignia probably I founding in places temporary captive camp in Pommern (Poland) THis shield is in 1928 year before wehrmaht, this is okazional gadget in Koln.

Thanks for the response Krichu. I understand the medal is from Koln, 1928. I found the left side of the German officer's oak leaf wreath yesterday, was easy to ID after seeing your post. HH, Mike
