Well, the time has come. I will be leaving for 15 months in Iraq in the next couple of days. My first one and a half years of MD has been great. I will not take my detector with me to Iraq, I'm sure you can guess why.

The pictured photos are from my last 3 weeks of searching on post. Got some nice older coins and buttons. I will miss the hobby and I can't wait to get back already. I did have a 3 gold ring day. Also found a seal C-Ration can of Peanut Butter.

P.S. If you or your community/group/association or family would like to support the deployed troops from my unit with care packages or any other support please PM me. You can send stuff to any soldier, unit or section. In one month we will be established in Iraq and I will send any interested party our unit addresses.

That's a big pile of finds and some great keepers. I can't thank you enough about what your doing, all I can from here is to pray you will return safe and sound so you can rejoin us here on TN. This is not good by just so long until your next post here from Iraq. We will all be waiting on that day.
