Getting Permission and Hunting Day ( One Strange Find ) & 1867 2 cents
Hi everyone,
Well Gary and I went hunting this afternoon. We started off at a site I knew held an old church.
We stopped at the farmers house and talked to him for awhile and he told us that his barn used to be
the church and that they had moved it to his farm. The church sat about 200 yards. from his house in what
is now a cornfield. He gave us permission to hunt the site.
Well we hunted and hunted and hunted, it was really tough going. We both dug some bullets, fence wire,
beer cans of course, site is along a highway and just plain trash.
I was hunting along and got this signal, started to dig and What The Heck is That Look was on my mind.
Well I took a picture of this item and am not sure I can post it on here, think it might be " R " rated ha ha.
It was a Personal Massager. I don't think I have ever seen one posted on here or anywhere else.
Well if anyone wants the picture let me know, I'll send it to you. LOL
Well we told the farmer that we would come back to this site next spring when he works down the field.
Went down the road a piece to an old log cabin site I used to hunt. Got permission from the farmer who owns that site and started hunting. Gary found lots and lots of pull tabs there. Must have been antique pull tabs.
I found a 1934 Mercury dime and 4 wheat pennies. Gary said he had about all the fun he could stand at this site and we moved on down the road to a Wooden one Room Schoolhouse that I had permission to hunt.
We both did a little better there. Gary found 3 IH"s, don't know the dates and a token that says something about cough syrup on it. I found one more wheat penny and a 1940 Canadian penny and a 1867 Two Cent Piece, in really rough condition.
Hope you all had a great Sunday, and found some goodies too. HH, Ringfinder
