Hej hej!

last weekend when i was in denmark for a vist i found a strange rock... i have no ideas what it is, so i was hoping some genius could help me out here? i found it in a place called Stevns, by the shore near a limestone quarry. would be great if someone can point it out.

so the edge is pyrite type material? that is a weird one.
You are so lucky to be over there experiencing so many countries.

The minute you say rust you think iron. And that looks to be iron pyrite as far as I can tell from the picture. And looking from the picture I would be looking for oh gold, silver, tetrahedrate, copper and a host of other associated minerals.

If I were to build further on my theory of limonite concretion the "outer walls" could be marcasite, a low temperature variation of Pyrite. "Common" in sedimentary rocks.
