I enjoyed the show about Tony and his wife.

He moved to a foreign country at a young age with nothing but dairy farming skills, busted his but, and ended up on top of the pile.

How can you not appreciate a story like that?

I wish I had TV , at times for shows like this . I just can't see paying for TV for whats normally on . I guess maybe penny wise and dollar foolish , but my children don't need to see what on these days . If I could just get Discovery and the History channel , I would be good .

I'm feeling like this will be the last season , unless something changes . From I what i"ve read in this posts , it sounds like the production of the show has gone in the toilet . I know , I'm going off of posts here . This show has been on barrowed time since last season . They all get fluky and then that the end . I hope I'm wrong as I love to see the equipment run , but let's face it , it's had a good run .

This will most likely be my last.

too much with the BS Fluff shows .
I watch for the Prospecting etc. even the Breakdowns & screw-ups are interesting.

doing whole shows where they are Fawning all over certain characters
making me wait an extra week to get my fix again,
and still needing to fast forward though more and more each week
has me wondering why I bother at all :dontknow:

the tv is off so it's not like I can say it's the Only thing on.
I'll watch it while I have my first Morning coffee which may take 10 Minutes of my Life

Previews for next week hinted that Hoffman may go back to Oregon to check a claim to mine on. Not sure what the Regs are like in Oregon but if they are anything like California he may have a problem unless he keeps the scale way down.
Saw them on tonight show, about them being in Oregon. I doubt they will move there. Todd is a dreamer, and the claim may cost beyond their means. Hunger snake, I would like to see it chase Todd, maybe he could lose a lot of fat.

looks like this is the place in Oregon where they were testing.
HIGH BAR GOLD MINE
looks like this group has bought up most of the claims in the area.
high bar mining, baker county, Oregon 12S 39E sec's 14,15,22,23,26,27
might be a good spot to prospect for a claim maybe downhill or close by

trying to learn to make a kml for google earth; View attachment HighBar.kml

well Tonight's Show wasn't tooo bad. the kid not threatening to fire everyone was a nice change.
Though I was hoping for the Plant to fall to Pieces on the Move :laughing7:
I still don't like the competition talk.
snow there already. their season must have been coming to an end by the time they filmed that.

the Oregon bit ? New scenery was nice !
I know they have to cower before peta , but that snake would have been a dead one,
given me a chance . I'd like to see if it can bite through flaming Kerosene :laughing7:

Even if the show goes off the air. The reruns would still be on. The cable, Dish and Direct T.V love to sell reruns. So we would"nt be missing a thing. And if they just changed the name of the location there at. No one would know the difference. Same gold same show. Look at gold fever. They have sold those shows many times over.
