Got A Rock you Want Identified? Post it here! gimme a good picture or 3 or 4!

I have one that looks exactly like the 3rd photo on the areas where there aren't crystals or bubbly things. Very cool finds whatever they are - all of them! And cool to add a little historical info there too.

What is the blue piece?

The clear one must be glass, but the blue one im not sure, it is 3" by 2", 3/4" thick, i cant find any blue glass with the same sort of iredesence. Is it a stone? Im at work right now and cant send more pics

We found this rock while walking through the woods in Pennsylvania. It came from a hill that was eroding away, so rocks similar in color were all around. No others had the center part like this one. The outer part is sandstone, but what is the center?

WOW! Thats incredible! It looks like one of those Native American grinding stones... or hammer stone... I forget. But that's probably extremely old if the sediment around it was that thick. I would take it to a specialist to learn more about it. Very cool!

Hi All,

I have a few pictures numbered with rocks I would like to have identified as an artifact or not(#1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9), and what kind of rock/stone numbers 10,11,12 are. You don't have to answer them all, I know its a lot. I appreciate any and all help. Please reply to my response with the "Reply with quote" so I can keep up.
(#7 Have a few gold flakes in it. Weird for NJ)

Thank you!#1 09:24:2020.png#2 09:24:2020.png#3 09:24:2020.jpg#4 09:24:2020.png#5 09:24:2020.png#6 09:24:2020.png#7 09:24:2020.png#8 09:24:2020.png#9 09:24:2020.png#10 09:24:2020.png#11 09:24:2020.png#12 09:24:2020.png

I found this in a field, is it a copper nugget? I'm in WI by the way

I once knew a guy that had a friend that was out plowing his field and as he drove in the rows he always looked down at the just plowed row. and he just turned around to go the other way and he saw a clean black rock just sitting on top of the just turned soil and he saw it and immediately stopped the tractor and jumped off to go see what it was......... It was black and nuggety looking and some what heavy , but it had a metallic look to it ,when I got to look at it I was stumped! I asked my friend if his friend would let me take it to the lab (mineralogist's)where I was working at the time and let them look at through their magnifier (I cant remember it's name ) But it magnified a specific spot on this "black metallic rock". He said O.K. and I took it to work. a few days latter they beeped me and said it was done! I didn't know but they sliced a small corner off his "BMR" and polished it super fine and to a magnified picture of it , and ran it through their scoop that lets you know exactly what is this "BMR" made of. I used these guys before checking the karet of my gold from Alaska and it told of all the make up from my gold. as it turned out it was a glob of molten copper propyl from a burning up satellite or some space object. I didnt know they were going to cut it for a clean spot and I thought the owner was gonna be pzzed BUT he wasn't and was glad to see what it really was .I had a picture of it and the report but it's on my old computer and it got hacked and I lost everything.

The thing that got his eye was that this black object was on top of the freashly plowed row and wasn't dirty at all ,as if it were just plowed up ! HECK it could have hit him in the back of his head !!

I could use some help identifying this rock. Not magnetic but is slightly attracted to a magnet. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1606520605.262938.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1606520657.143702.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1606520697.824631.jpg
