Got My First 1970 Half From A Box

After some 700 + boxes & 3 years, I finally got a 1970 D half. I got a 70 S half over a year ago from a teller tray. I also bought a 70 D last March at a coin show (it's the only coin I have ever bought). It was a real rush to find one in a box.

I must have gotten pretty lucky then, i did 1200+ boxes last year, and found about 5-6 of each D and S mint.

One box had I think 2 of each or 3 of one type or something wild like that!

congratulations on finding the 70d! It's pretty cool to know that the silver you found wasn't meant for circulation, huh? I remember my first one, the date looks so weird because we always see the 1971 halves.
