It goes without saying, try to hang on to as much of your placer gold as you can for the rainy days ahead. Its been proven in the past that a "pinch" of gold will buy you the same goods as a wheelbarrow full of paper money.

Full pan is correct!! History has taught us many many times over that Paper Currency without tangible backing, ie. gold silver ect. Will inevitably fail!! Every single time... We the US are currently sliding down this un changeable slope. Save as much gold as you can. Hoarders will be the next millionairs. They say 10,000 or 20,000 an ounce is impossible but when the currency faild and it will you may just buy a home with 5 ounces... It has happened in several countries including our own. During the depression gold was invaluable. That's why it spurred a gold rush much like the one that is beginning now!

1. Thou shalt balance the budget and keep it that way!!!

2. Thou shall no longer place the goals of the special interest groups above the welfare of the American People

3. Thou shalt do your jobs that you were elected by the people to do and if you don't thou shalt be fined and barred from future office above that of "Dog Catcher".

4. Thou shalt not vote thyself a pay raise. That shall be determined BY THE PEOPLE that pay you!

5. Thou shalt not infringe on the rights of the people to access what is public property. The people own it, not you or the special interest groups!!

6. Thou shalt fear the people you serve and whom have given their trust to you! NOT the other way around!!!

7. Thou shalt be responsible for the actions of your underlings! If they incur the wrath of the people, it shalt be thou that takes the heat for it!

8. Thou shall bring to public vote ANY item that effects the entire population of this country. This passing laws without a public vote shall no longer fly!!! (WE are adults and know right from wrong and for the most part are more moral than thou)

9. Thou shall listen to all the people you serve in your office and take heed of their words! Ignoring them in favor of some special interest group shall be a crime most heinous!

10. Thou shalt not make a career of living off the public, special interest groups and lobbyists. Taking a bribe shall be fined 10Xs the amount of the bribe and then drawn and quartered.

I think it might be best for them to shut down myself as if their not there then they can't mess anything up, as we all know they never fix anything anyway they just make it worse.

back in the 80’s the government went broke. there was a miner from Arkansas that was mining on the south fork of the 40 mile in Alaska. he went and built a cabin on some blm property thinking that since the government was broke and shutdown the blm didn’t exist , so rules didn’t apply and no one owned the land so he claimed it . he made it in his cabin for the winter. next year, well guess what ?.no more cabin . the government will recover and the only change will be for the worse.

Sad part is that the ones who will suffer the most are the low level federal worker bees that will be put on furlough. The politicians still get paid as they are considered "essential" to government operations, they just get some time off for photo and media grandstanding oppurtunities.
