Grass seed prices are up

Mike thanks I hope our lawn will look as good as yours
We have a well and septic also and last fall had to get another well pump.

Third year with minimal rain I hope that trend will change for you this year..The well company had to drill down nearly 300 feet for our well and we had to get a new well pump last year(ouch)
I remember going to Kansas when the temps were over 100 plus and seeing all the large grasshoppers also
I think if I had to get a new well, me and the boys would probably set up the windlass and sink a hand dug well, mine is about 250 ft.
We've talked about it a few times, don't know what the county would have say about shaftin in a well ? Probably make us box it in with wood, I imagine that would be close to the price of a driller coming in..
Gt....

GT....I can understand your thoughts and frustration
A well is a lifeline and pure water is getting more difficult to obtain..
I hope everything will work out for you
Take care
Bill

That is incredible I hope that the seed will germinate nicely.
I would like to see some pictures someday
Take care
Once we get a decent cover starting, I will post a photo.. I do have to be careful with the seed though.

If I turn the horses out on an unlimited basis, they will founder... not a good scenario

Luckily, we have our own irrigation pond that never seems to go dry
