Breakfree is expensive . Kerosene works pretty good if you give it enough time.Oh and PS, don't beat on it with a hammer of any type. Those levers and latches on doubles are not very strong and if corroded will probably snap. Monty

12 Gauge for sure and a hammer type shotgun The hammer mechanisims are gone as well as the plates that went on the sides. My buddy is gonna get it opened up.

those look like casting #'s, if we could get a picture of the release lever, end of the barrel, and where the trigger assembly enters it might help
