Had a fun week, Gold & a wad of Cash!!

Had a fun week hunting with a couple of gulf coast hunters, Bill (bac42) and his friend Jerry. Good finds were kinda scarce, although everyone found something good. My take, a Titanium band, one 10K class ring from Phoenix,AZ., A nice 22K & Pearl ring, (my 1st 22K), several sterling rings, and a money clip with $175 in cash in it. It was burried close to 2' deep, I've emailed the owner to see if he wants his drivers license, & credit cards back, (notice I didn't say cash :laughing9:

).
As I was getting out of the water on Thursday, a frantic Italian women who was on her honeymoon had just lost her ring. After 30 seconds of hunting, it was back on her finger again. She was in tears that I had found it and on their last day here. HH All.

A 'frantic Italian woman' must have panicked the whole beach ::)

Hey those are really nice finds, I know that is a tough decision to give it back, the toughest part is that you have the guys drivers license, it's almost like a test from God you know who it belongs too. If it were me I would return it because I know God gives back 100 fold to those that are truthful and honest. I guess you have to ask yourself would you want your things returned to you? I know it's very tempting, I guess it would not be a problem if you didn't know who it belonged to. Again just my opinion, that's a choice you have to make. Whats the price of a clear conscious? Do the right thing and you will be blessed!

I am certain that the bank cards are cancelled. I would keep the money.
Remember what "The Grand Master Hunter " once said about this Earth; "There is not one square inch of land on Earth that does not belong to somebody". Meaning, whatever you find anywhere belongs to someone else.
Meaning what you find is Yours! :coffee2:

You'll find old timer's swinging detectors on the beach, ( 35 years experience), and they'll find a ring and then try to get it back to it's owner. Is something lost with treasures these days or what!? Some really silly stuff. But what you do with your finds is Your business!
I would maybe go as far as to pay taxes on it, to make me feel like a citezen on this earth that every square inch belongs to someone. But after years and years, I have never claimed any on my taxes. The gov. should not tresspass the United Native Nations anyhow. :headbang:
