So I started my day off detecting an area I have had good results in before. First good signal was a modern penny but it gave me hope that there was something eles that I have missed before. Not long after i got a neck stock buckle. Less than two feet away I got another good signal and pulled out the large flat button. The 2 other buckles were next. After that I went home and had lunch then headed out to a cellar hole that I detect at often. I found a few small buttons and was about to head back when I got a good signal right in the middle of the trail I've walked on atleast 100 times. Sounded like a button at first but after the first scoop it sounded more like a coin. A few more scoops of dirt later and and I realized that I just found my first half cent. Didn't want to go home after that anymore so I detected down the trail for a wile and got a 64 Rosie.
