Half Dime and Carson City Dime

Hi Folks,
I have not had anything to post for over two years. Beans are out and I hit my old standby fairgrounds I have hunted for about 8 yrs. some days I find nothing and think of not going back, but the crops are still in my other places. Glad I decided to go back, they say a place is never worked out and I think maybe it's true. Today I found a 1876 CC Dime and a 1847 half Dime. This is my third half dime and second CC dime from here.

Wow excellent finds. It must feel really good to go back to a site with diminishing returns and pull a cc in great condition and a half dime! Not easy to find coins! Congrats!!!

Great coins Mike. I am apparently North of where you are, have been hunting for 30 years, and still have not found a Half Dime. That is one of the few coins left on my bucket list. Congrats !

Thanks. It does feel good to still pull old coins out of here. The way it's been lately I would have been happy for a silver coin of any kind.
