I probably don't have enough results yet to back this... But it seems like out of the 10-15 times I've gotten half dollars from a teller, the fewer they have, the better my ratio of keepers!
Like the time I got about $85 worth and only had one 40%
Then I got $2 worth and had two 40%
This time I got $28 worth and had three 40% and three 90%

In terms of boxes- no.
In terms of CWR- no.
In terms of CWR vs. Boxes - yes.

I have made some really good scores over the years. All from customer rolls. Most times I find solid rolls there was one teller that had $60 or less in rolls. If there are lots of rolls I usually find much less. One time only have I found a bank that had $240 in halfs and I pulled over 12 rolls of silver from them. The bank has had nothing else since. Believe me I try to relive that moment a lot.

The hunters that find the most silver every year are the large volume MWR box hunters. Period. No easy way to find alot of silver. HH
