Has anyone else had a post/thread deleted since the shutdown

I had a thread called "Play Misty for me", but it's now gone. Was it deleted by the Mods or was it lost in the "only a hardware, not a software" problem, where no "posts or files where lost!". If a mod can look at the "bin" and let me know, I would be obliged, I have checked with a couple of other software/hardware guys who work for the London Stock Exchange and they say it is unlikely that the post would just disappear,most probably it was deleted, but why?

Most likely the server was restarted from the last SAFE, saved point, from what was seen, November 19th. (The last known date without software/hardware issues ?)

It is unfortunate that some content may have been lost but it is good that the vast majority was saved.

I remembered the post, I commended on it. You're right, I can't find it either. That was one of the things I noticed when TNet came back up, nothing was dated the 20th. I remember all the birthdays were done earlier too and none of those are there. I just assume what Blacksheep replied is the truth.

If you still have the pictures, please re-post them.

Yes, posts are definitely gone as well as private messages sent in the last while before the site went down.

There was a new post yesterday that I replied to, and all of it disappeared it was located in signs and symbols and I can find no trace of it. The guy who posted it posted in two locations and both can not be found. I went to my profile and looked under post and most of mine were there except this one. I'm sure this was deleted by some one for what reason I do not know.

A lot of time when I post the red message appears that sayes some one else has posted while I posted or sometimes ,while I was reading. When I check,Even after refreshing, there is no other post. Maybe there ghost posters!

Heck, I've had posts deleted before the crash, and will more than likely have some deleted long after as well !!!

I reckon it's only because I am the trouble maker around here !!!
