Hello fellow metal detectors my name is Nate I live in dillsburg pa and I'm new to this forum and metal detecting even though I do not own one yet I'm hoping to get advice on that.its something that has interested me for years just to be able to find from the old days is just interesting.Thanks and happy hunting

In case you haven't ran across these resources yet: This site a several forums for the different brands... as well as a "head to head comparison" forum which I have found interesting. In addition, on KellyCoDectectors, they have the ability to compare detectors on capabilities. Very good resources for making your list smaller...

To get started, just posting a question in one of the appropriate forums with 1) where you live, 2) your budget and 3) what you want to look for... is usually a great start.
