Help decoding map

I found a dagger carved in stone and 30 yards away in the direction it was pointing was what looks like a map carved in stone. Can someone tell me if this is in fact a map, and what it is saying? Also about 2 ft away from the stone map on the same rock there is a very defined "v" carved deep into the rock, I have attached pictures of everything listed above. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank u.

If you can go back to where these markings are, you can use talc powder or something to make them stand out better. This would go a long way in people being able to see what is carved and come up with a possible interpretation.

The marking are carved into a rock at the edge of a creek outside a small town in Texas called Pontotoc,

No idea but very interesting… to my untrained eye the carvings look to be plenty old. I see a creature more than a map,
