Detector(s) used
Fisher F75
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
An engraved spirit level and more.....

It had been more than a month since I hunted last at Riverside. I needed the break.
Today marked my return and a couple hours of swinging the F75 produced some interesting and older finds:

1918 wheat,
1885 Indian Head penny (it was about as close to the base of an oak tree as I've ever found a coin),
Gilt Sacred Heart medallion (I busted off two of the circles in cleaning it; when will I ever learn that metal from the ground is brittle),
An Eagle Excelsior button (no back was found...your help in identifying is appreciated),
An odd threesome of a cufflink, lead shot and part of what may have been a buckle (found in separate holes),
...and JVB's Stanley spirit level.

A very satisfying hunt...I think I'll go back.

Happy Hunting diggers!
