Yes another newbie to medal detecting. I purchased my first detector with my income tax return. Now I'm waiting for a thaw to go and use it. I did also buy a long handle scoop. So how has the BIG Lake been for those here? SurgTech57

Welcome aboard again my friend! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting your state for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).
