After having looked for new productive sites to hunt for months ... spent hours and hours locating new aeras on the map ... ridden over 200 km each weekend just to pull out trash or modern coins in the best case ... I finally found a dream spot last weekend . I threw away the map and drove at random thinking I just hit the first spot that looked fine to me . and that's what I did I looked around me asking myself " If I was a roman ( or whatever you want !) where would I build my house ? . I saw a small hill in the skyline that immediatly drew my attention . a few minutes ( well 1 hour actually :-\)later I was there . the first coin I found was a Celtic one after a few secondes of detecting only ... and guess what just near another bronze coin ...then another one then a bronze ring . I stayed there for 3 hours ( before the night actually stopped me ) and dug more then 30 celtic bronze coins , a silver hammered , a few bronze rings and some other stuff . The odd thing is I drove around the hill for a long time but had never stopped to detect .needlless to say I'm an happy man today :icon_queen:

WOW!!! That is a SPECIAL Hunt! And some impressive finds! A SINGLE Celtic coin is a Great day--much less digging THIRTY in an afternoon! And the hammered silver is just icing on the cake. Bravo!

I didn't post the picture of the hammered silver as It is in very bad shape can't make out any detail on it

Thirty in an afternoon is simply a dream day ... :D

This happens all the time in European treasure hunting  :icon_jokercolor:.........

......Hell no....... That is a outstanding day & a banner worthy hunt if I ever saw one. (I have less than 10 silver & bronze Celtic coins in over 20 years) :o :o

Yeah, I'm thinking BANNER too! And folks will click on it when they're hungry thinking that you're holding a handful of the cereal "Cookie Crisp" :D

Again, an OUTSTANDING day.
