Had a chance to try it out yesterday. Works great and the foam noodle piece is just enough to keep it upright in the water. Scooped dime, nickel, electric motor for some toy and a nice ring with it.

Looks real good. As long as the back of the scoop is reinforced at the handle for a kick plate. Looks solid. Nice work.

Back is all set as the bolts are actually u-bolts with brackets on the inside and the handle itself goes to the base of the scoop. Works great!
