horrible dimes? whats happening!!!!!

This week ive already done a $1000 in dimes and have only pulled out one silver and a coin from kasikhstan. Is anyone else going through a rough time.

I picked up $215 in CWR of dimes on Saturday and found a 1964. I also found a Jamaican dollar, 5 pence, and a Canadian dime. What really made me mad was that about half of the dime rolls were short 1 or 2 dimes, so the silver I did find was cancelled out by the missing dimes.

Dimes have slowed a bit for me too. I'm trying to get one more today to reach my 2012 goal of 200. Getting harder to find them....

They have all been 2012p dimes for me the past couple of weeks. Going on almost a month now................. I dont even crack the rolls open if they are 2012's on both sides. The mint is going to release a statement saying they underestimated the estimated amount of dimes to be made in 2012, and say they accidentally made 1000x that amount and will cease making dimes for the next several years as a result.

I would be very weary of doing that 50cent.. A couple weeks ago I had a box of all 2012s and in those rolls i found 3 silvers.. Not one other type of clad dime was in the bunch, just brand new 2012s and 3 silver dimes.. Do as you wish, but you may be tossing back some Ag..

I think I may go back to boxes...cwr just isn't cutting the mustard...I've had good luck with boxes lately. Cwr are just easier to dump because I don't have to use the counter and worry about shorts. I dump about $1k in cwr at a time.

CWR are easier for me to dump into my hand but I do worry about shorts. I get shorted in dimes pretty often.

I did a box of dimes tonight and only found a 1973 Canadian. This is my 3rd box getting skunked. I don't do dime boxes often but last year the ones I did always had silver, until I hit my skunk streak in December. I'm going to try and pick up 3 more boxes tomorrow.

I picked up two boxes of dimes and a box of nickels earlier and plan on picking up another box of dimes on my way home. One of the dime boxes was kind of funky. It had brown tape over the top like packing tape and when I opened it there was a lot of extra space. I counted the rolls and all 50 were there. Maybe the bank made a box out of loose MWR? I'll post a picture of the box tonight. Hopefully I find some silver.
