Greg, Really nice finds. Your persistance is really paying off. Nice rings and clad count. I found a large (silver)? ring like the one you found but when I cleaned it ,it was a fake. :( It was worth about 10 seconds of excitement. :P Glad that yours was real. Keep on beeping.

2 in the same hole, amazing! What are the odds of that? Silver and gold too, fantastic! As allways you are tearing em up.

I have 3 of those metal detecting coins just like yours..what part of Denver do hunt?....I am mostly in the southen part of the metro area.

Gregg,
Awesome job! TWO rings in one hole. So cool. Neat token too, but my favorite item in the pictures are those two white pizza box supports you used as displays. ;D ;D ;D
I'm going to have to try that.
Neat idea.
Congrats to you.
-MM-

I had a black pizza holder too! I lost that one...luckily though I have never found 3 rings at once to display! I am keeping an eye out for them in my pizza boxes though...just in case! :D

I am not one of the major ring finders...I only have 16 for year that are good, 3 gold, rest silver. But I am lucky I have only dug 3-4 junk rings. I am not a big fan of the tot lots...they have not produced for me like some...odd with the foot traffic in my parks I should be pulling out more....but I know some are just hitting the tot lots where I hunt...so I guess they leave the digging to me! :)

Thanks actually I have seen all the rings you have been finding lately! :) The day before the hunt I use some of the posts to motivate me. I notice you are a grinder like me and earn every coin! :)

I hunt the part of Colorado in Illinois! ;D If you stop over on the friendly metal detecting forum I post there also and read the responses, two of the guys said they bought their detectors there and provided me with the link! Apparently the owner drops them for advertising, guess he dropped this one a long way from home! :)

Once again thanks everyone, anytime I know i am going out and need a little motivation I just stop in and look at the finds in the forum...then still come home with nothing but a bunch of chewed up memorials and a few bucks in clad! ;D But today was different so lets all keep diggin! :)

Here are the rings cleaned up...you can see the animal heads! :D

Bob

Bob I have to give you some credit for my finds yesterday...you had mention boosting the pre amp to 4...even though it had not worked real well for me in some areas due to emi, I lowered the ac to 64-65 area and put pag at 4 seemed to work at this park! Thanks! :)

Nice rings, and all that clad, man. You're a machine.
