Hurricane Lane

[Duckshot]

Hope you all down in Hawaii are doing ok and stay safe.

What happens weather-wise when a hurricane hits a volcano anyways?

And wy is NWS calling it a hurricane? Didn't they just get done telling us that a hurricane in the pacific is a typhoon?

[against the wind]

I imagine when water hits hot rocks, you get steam.

[tokameel]

My prayers are with those people hit by hurricane Lane, as well as the lava.

Just wondering, after all has settled down, how would the hurricane affect the metal detecting on the beeches?
