I can't believe this!!!!!

Well... I was leaving the house and spotted a dumpster.... And of course I had to look.... Before you see the pics, you need to know that I'm a carpenter..... I'm going to upload the pics now and I'll add descriptions later, but those who know what these things are will know why I'm so happy right now...

Did anyone ID your mystery item? It is a hoop driver for making barrels.

(I see I'm an hour too late on the ID...)

A couple more pics.... I don't know what the doodad is it's wood with an iron tip and an iron ring around it, I thought maybe some kind of wedge, but?

The brace and bits are really nice and something I'm probably going to get some use out of... The tri-square is just for reference....

I'm almost certain that your tool is a cooper's barrel hoop driver. Nice scores, I like to pilfer rich dumpsters when the occasion presents itself as well.

Just looked that up and found an exact match Great ID!
