I hit up the Naples beach for a few hours today, amazing how much trash there is on a freshly re-nourished beach. I did find $1.68 in clad, and this other stuff. The "stones" fell out of the ring bouncing around in my recovery pouch.

I was hoping this would be my little good luck charm...maybe next time

Then I found this along a sidewalk in Old Naples, I think it belonged to an old timer...

Thanks for looking:hello:

Fun stuff right there! That ring is .. well .. different!8-)

I think Sir Elton John may well have lost that ring in Naples during a recent concert there !

wow that is hideous :laughing7:

Love the Old Timer pocket knife! :notworthy: :hello2: That friendly angel may bring you much luck on future hunts. HAVE FUN! Andi

I once found a rusty, broken Old-Timer knife. I sent it in to the company and they sent me a shiny new one.

Well Dave, on a positive note....Your next ring will CERTAINLY be nicer! You can even consider the next one as your "first lost ring found" as that one was probably Thrown away...after she sobered up?

Well...it could be worse....H. Clinton could be attached to it!

I think. Most of use have to pay our "dues" before we get some really good stuff. Except for my neighbor, that I took out for his first metal detecting hunt in his life....and in 10 mins ....he scores a ring! Go figure.

Better luck next time!

I agree with ml, send it in, I'll bet you'll get a new one.
I like all the finds, that angel is a good luck charm.

I will look into it, I've got nothing to lose, my bride will be thrilled... more clutter

Sorry to tell you, but the Schrade factory closed down four years ago, and they are no longer in business, so you won't be able to send it back. Looks like it is in good enough shape that the blade will clean up OK, and they are good users.

BWD - maybe the gaudy ring is the good luck charm, you have to put it on and wear it next time you go detecting.
LOL !!!!
